On a world covered almost entirely of open ocean, gigantic Colonies comprised of hundreds of species - billions of organisms - float upon the tides. For some, the everlasting cycle of life is far from everything, and they look beyond the confines of their floating world to the mysteries of the universe and the realms below.
Ea and Oa - two members of a forager species - take a step beyond their experience after the Colony of Ootmo strikes land - and what they witness brings upset to a precarious balance of existence.
Best described as "Finding Nemo" meets "Planet of the Apes", Pelagea puts forward the idea of how much we strain against our biological norms, simply by exerting free will.
