"Bikura"

This is a character inspired by the music of an old friend. The song conjured the impression of a pulpy sci-fi universe reminiscent of Heavy Metal, so I tried to portray her along those lines. I saw her as a sort of space-port bar-hopping femme-fatale, imbibing far too many chemicals (liquid, gas, smoke-particulates...) and carousing/liaising with friends and potential victims of many species. The deathray is merely to remind people its all just fun and... games.

This was an experiment with a new way of painting, using colour-dodge to lay in colour rather than spot highlights, as well as trying to do as much as possible in ProCreate.
